This policy explains how Mova Glow collects, uses and protects your personal data. Mova Glow is owned and operated by MASSALHA FZCO (Trade License No. 20094, issued by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority), registered at DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. MASSALHA FZCO is the controller of your personal data, and we handle it in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

1. Data we collect

  • Contact and order details: name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, the products you order and your order history.
  • Payment details: payments are processed by the payment providers behind the payment methods shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp, including photos or videos (for example, of a faulty device).
  • Device and browsing data: IP address, device and browser type and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you agreed to receive offers.

2. How we use your data

  • to process, deliver and track your orders;
  • to handle returns, refunds, warranty claims, complaints and customer service;
  • to prevent fraud and keep the store working and secure;
  • to send you offers by email, SMS or WhatsApp, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link, by replying STOP, or by contacting us; and
  • to measure and improve our ads, using optional cookies and pixels (see section 4 for how to block them).

We rely on performing our contract with you, your consent, our legal obligations, or other grounds permitted by the PDPL.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Shopify (store platform and hosting);
  • payment providers that process the payment methods shown at checkout;
  • courier and delivery companies, which receive your name, phone number and address;
  • analytics and advertising partners, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google, through pixels and similar tools; and
  • communication tools, such as email and WhatsApp.

We may also disclose data where required by law or by a competent UAE authority. Some providers process data outside the UAE; where this happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate protection, as the PDPL requires.

4. Cookies and pixels

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the store working (for example, your cart and checkout), to understand how visitors use the store, and to measure and personalise ads on platforms like Meta, TikTok and Google. Essential cookies are always on. You can block or delete optional cookies in your browser settings, which may affect how the store works.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and payment records are kept for the period required by UAE law for commercial and accounting records. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

6. Security

We use encrypted (HTTPS) connections and secure payment processing through our payment providers, and limit access to your data to people who need it. Please contact us right away if you think your data has been misused.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPL, you can ask us to:

  • give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data, unless we must keep it by law;
  • restrict or object to certain uses, including direct marketing; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To make a request, email support@movaglow.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

8. Children

Mova Glow is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version is always on this page.
